Alan Jennings retires

WPXI-TV (11) reporter Alan Jennings is retiring as mentioned on his Facebook page today. Jennings has had a long career in Pittsburgh, but started in television as a news writer at WKBW-TV in Buffalo, New York. There he was also a helicopter traffic reporter for the AM sister station. He also worked as a news director and anchor for the USA Radio Network in Dallas. His Pittsburgh radio career took him to KDKA-AM (1020), WXKX-FM (“96KIX” 96.1), WAMO-FM (then at 105.9) and WWSW-AM (970). In addition to WPXI, Jennings also worked at WTAE-TV (4).
