BCI closes on 3-station cluster in Western Maryland

On Tuesday, Broadcast Communications II, Inc of Greensburg closed on its acquisiton of the three Western Maryland radio stations formerly owned by receiver John Culp of Mountain Lake Park, Maryland. The stations include WMSG-AM (1050 Oakland), WWHC-FM (92.3 Oakland) and WKHJ-FM (104.5 Mountain Lake Park). The total purchase price for the cluster is $775,000.

The owners of Broadcast Communications, Inc are Robert and Ashley Stevens whose affiliated company also owns four stations in Western Pennsylvania, WKHB-AM (620 Irwin); WKFB-AM (770 Jeannette); WKVE-FM (103.1 Mt. Pleasant) and WANB-AM (1210 Waynesburg).

Media broker, Ray H. Rosenblum of Pittsburgh arranged the transaction.
