Frank Bell has left his post as VP/Programming a Keymarket Communications after a company restructuring. Radio-info’s Tom Taylor reported this afternoon that it’s a continuation of the restructuring that began last year when the company LMA’d 98.3 FM to Educational Media Foundation and its K-Love format. Bell tells Taylor, “I am especially grateful to the incredible team of Keymarket programming and promotion people who’ve worked very hard over the past ten years to make our 14 stations an important part of their local communities.”

Meanwhile Radio-info is also reporting that Johnny Hartwell will be returning to the Steel City via WWSW-FM (94.5) where he will be the new morning host and digital program coordinator. Long-time morning host and station mainstay, Jim Merkel, left last week after the station decided to take the morning show “in a different direction”. Long-time producer Theresa Colaizi was also let go.
