Milford pleads 'no contest'

Pittsburgh:

Former KDKA Radio newsman Rob Milford pleaded "no contest" on Tuesday on a misdemeanor charge of carrying a handgun to the security checkpoint at the Allegheny County Courthouse in June 2008. Milford, now living in Pensacola, Florida, was entering the courthouse to cover the trial of the East End rapist when the .38-caliber revolver was discovered in his briefcase. Judge Jeffrey A. Manning ordered Milford to pay court costs but no additional penalty was given, according to the Post-Gazette.
