1170 on and off

WWVA-AM (1170) is back on the air at a very reduced power as of 10:30 Thursday evening. Unfortunately something failed with the signal a few hours later and the station is back on the air. Again this morning, 1170's programming is being heard via WBBD-AM 1400 

Meanwhile, the winds that took all three towers down reportedly averaged 70 mph and perhaps as high as 100 mph near the top of the towers which rose 400 feet in the air.
