Pittsburgh: Merry Christmas from your friends at 3-W-S! WWSW-FM (94.5) made its annual switch today to Christmas music through Christmas Day. WSHH-FM (99.7) also made the switch over to the holiday tunes.

I’m glad that these two stations wait until the day of Light Up Night to switch over to all X-mas music. In my opinion, it’s the official start of the holiday season in Pittsburgh (both in general and in radio).

Been several years since 3-W-S switched to Christmas Music before Thanksgiving. Nice to “hear” that 2 Pittsburgh station’s have switched, as the ratings will rise.
