Breaking News - Forever stations now back on the air.

Erie-Meadville:

There could be several people in both Crawford & Venango counties getting a late start this morning without music or talk to wake up to. All of the Forever Broadcasting stations are currently off the air. They include Froggy 100.3 & 98.5 (Country), WUZZ 94.3 & 107.7 (Classic Rock), MAJIC 99.3 & 104.5 (Adult Hits) and The Allegheny News - Talk - Sports Network on 1490, 1450 and 1230. It appears to be a power issue at The Downtown Mall in Meadville where the studios are located. More details as they become available.

Update: There is a large structure fire in Meadville that has temporarily taken the stations off the air. Listeners in Crawford can tune into Cool 101.7 and Venango on 96.3 WKQW.

Update #2: All Forever stations are back on the air as of 10am. Froggy was the first with auxiliary power before 9am. All should be back to normal. Let's not forget the victims of this fire living in apartments as well as a long time business "The Whole Darn Thing" sub shop is a total loss.
