Imus off for two weeks
By pbrtv_admin
National News: Don Imus won't be returning to WURP (1550) next week after all. He's been suspended from both CBS Radio and his MSNBC televised simulcast for two weeks after making racially- and sexually-disparaging remarks about the Rutgers' women's basketball team. The curmudgeonly morning man has apologized, but didn't seem all that apologetic in an appearance with activist Rev. Al Sharpton --- at one point off the air calling Sharpton's comments "bulls---," according to the
New York Daily News. Imus has become so politically well-connected that industry analysts say he's unlikely to be fired.
