WTOV to carry MeTV

West Virginia:

Effective January 16, 2012, WTOV-TV (9; Steubenville) will join its Cox sister stations WPXI-TV (11; Pittsburgh) and WJAC-TV (6; Johnstown) in carrying MeTV on its Channel 9.2. "Me-TV's library of TV classics allows us to provide our viewers with some of the most popular and enjoyed shows ever on television," said WTOV VP/GM Tim McCoy.

RTV is still carried on the Pittsburgh-licensed WBGN-TV (59) out of Greetree.

Eric, sorry I forgot to get the details to you earlier. Program schedule is great.

Steubenville/Wheeling viewers will like MeTV and find it an improvement over RTV.

I wish they would bring that channel to the Youngstown area, but I’m not really holding my breath on that one.

Ditto — I sure wish our local RTV affiliate down here in DC would drop them and pick up MeTv too… RTV was ok at one time but have gone from ok to lousy.

We already receive Me-TV from WPXI. It was actually nice having both RTV and Me-TV. At this point why not just shut WTOV down (and WJAC) and repeat WPXI.

Sorry, but we're getting so many spam comments that we need to add this quiz to block the junk. The correct answer, by the way, is WPXI. Type those four letters, and you'll be fine.
