WQLN DT to go full power this week

Erie-Meadville: There is an update on WQLN DT 54-1 (50) regarding the time when the station will go full power. The station is looking at Wednesday (September 10th) to boost their power from 39kw to 200kw. This will make WQLN Erie's most powerful HD digital signal for a short time until WFXP DT 66-1 (22) goes full power by the end of 2008, according to info on yourerie.com. Expect the digital side of WQLN to be off the air Wednesday at times while upgrades for the power increase are being made.
