WJET TV goes HD
Erie-Meadville: Tirak's HDTV Watch: According to reports over on the Erie page of avsforum.com, WJET DT 24-1 (58) is now carrying ABC programs in HD. Readers at AVS said that Jet is broadcasting in 720p when viewers were catching the election results. I could not confirm this at home near Cochranton due to Jet's current low power status on the digital side. There will not be a power increase for the station until February 17th or 18th when Jet moves to digital 24 once analog 24 is shut off at that time. This is good news for those within Jet's coverage area and hopefully the station will be added to cable outlets in the near future. If Jet comes in over the air as well as sister station Fox 66 with the move, the signal will be rock solid. Drop us a line to let us know how well Jet is coming in at your place and how well their HD looks.Readers’ Forum
I wish I was able to give you a report, but I still don’t receive Jet TV here in Crawford County with my converter box.
One good update is that I have been getting WQLN 54.1 again.

I get the Jet digital signal at about 80-82 percent in Cambridge Springs using a Dish Network converter box (TR-40CRA) and an outdoor antenna. I must be in just the right place, because I’ve heard many other reports of users farther north than me who can’t receive it.

Yes, you are in a good spot for Jet DT. The map on the FCC website shows that their low powered signal reaches about Meadville. Their power increase in February will be a huge improvement for my place near Cochranton. Their sister station Fox 66 is very strong for me now.
