The Kittanning Paper reports that burglars attempted to break in at the WTYM (1380 Kittanning) transmitter site early this morning. Family Life Media president David Croyle told the paper that there was minimal damage to a pad lock on the main door. A security system sounded and activated cameras around the site. Equipment was not found to be damaged and the station remained on the air. State police are investigating and said that the robbers could have entered through a portion of security fence. Surveillance video is being reviewed to see if the suspects can be identified.

This attempt is one of many in the North Buffalo Township area where the transmitter is located.
