KDKA-FM (93.7) announced earlier this week that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will return for a fifth year as host of “The Ben Roethlisberger Show”. The program will air every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. during the NFL season as part of the station’s Cook and Poni Show.

Meanwhile, CBS Radio Pittsburgh unveiled their newest programming feature today. “KDKA Traffic & Weather Together” is now available to HD radio users on WDSY’s HD3 Channel at 107.9 HD3. It’s not just available via HD, but also via the online streaming Radio.com, in Wi-Fi connected vehicles, and Amazon Echo or Alexa enabled devices through the TuneIn app. The service will air live weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern with real-time traffic reports and weather information. During the weeknights and weekends the station will feature current road closure and construction updates and regularly updated local weather forecasts. While the content will be powered by CBS radio’s new national traffic and weather product, it will be delivered by traffic reporters a Greg McAtee and Scott Stiller who have a combined 32 years experience reporting Pittsburgh traffic.
