Pittsburgh Business Times reports that Steel City Media has sold the 25-year-old alternative news, arts, and entertainment weekly – Pittsburgh City Paper – to the parent company of the Butler Eagle. The Frischling Family, who own Steel City Media, is focusing on radio. They own WRRK (96.9 Braddock) and WLTJ (92.9) as well as stations in Kansas City.

Meanwhile Eagle Media president, Vernon Wise, III doesn’t anticipate personnel changes at the paper.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
