Cox Media Group (parent of WPXI) has reached a long-term agreement with DirecTv for carriage of WPXI and other Cox-owned TV stations. The stations were returned to the lineups earlier in the evening after a nearly 18-hour blackout. No word on DirecTv’s agreement with Hearst who owns WTAE. WTAE also went off the lineup at midnight leaving Pittsburgh DirecTv viewers without two major network stations.
