Fans of programming from The Family Life Network now can tune in to the Contemporaty Christian network on WCGM 102.7. The new full powered signal licensed to Wattsburg, should cover parts of the city of Erie. However, they cannot be in Erie itself because of short space issues that would have come up with Cumulus owned WQHZ 102.3. It looks like my comment regarding the 98.7 translator is no longer an issue with FLN. (See Joel Natalie’s comment for more details.) It looks like more competition in more areas for locally owned WCTL 106.3 Union City (and 105.9 in the city.) In addition, FLN will be putting on WCGF 89.9 in Cambridge Springs in the future, which should cover a large chunk of Crawford County. Just an opinion, but I’m very surprised that WCTL does not have a Meadville area translator.
