According to Radio-Info, the FCC will discuss one topic at their Open Meeting on November 30. That’s LPFM. While the meeting isn’t set to finalize approval of the more than 6000 pending FM translator applications, it will be a discussion of the final procedures necessary to make such approval necessary.

The Local Community Radio Act was signed into law by President Obama in January, 2011. The act was championed by local congressman Mike Doyle (D- Forest Hills).
