FCC Update; Thiel College to go back on air
January 24, 2013The FCC lists a lot of events in the PBRTV coverage area today. Most of the transactions are with Abacus Television. Abacus has filed applications to convert the following stations to Class A signals:
WIIC-LP (29) Pittsburgh
WPTG-LP (49) Pittsburgh
WWVW-LD (8) Wheeling, WV
WWBP-LD (31) Freedom, PA
WSSS-LP (21) Steubenville, OH
Meanwhile, it looks like Thiel College in Greenville has filed a License to cover application for WXTC at 88.1 FM. The license for their former station, WTGP, also at 88.1, was turned in in 2007, but the school applied for a new license in 2010.
