Walt Golden/KQV Radio

After 38 years, KQV (1410) reporter Walt Golden has retired. The New Jersey native joined the station in 1975 and has received honors from the Associated Press as well as receiving Golden Quill Awards for stories including the crash of Flight 93 and the Quecreek Mine rescue.

  1. Well deserved! Walt and I never worked together, but we did work alongside each other covering the same stories over the years. A consummate professional and a helluva nice guy. I hope he enjoys retirement as much as I am.
