Chuck Gratner, who has been the General Manager of Salem’s Pittsburgh cluster for 23 years, is retiring after 50 years in the broadcasting industry. Before coming to town where the company owns WORD (101.5) and WPIT (730), Gratner worked in Dallas and Sacramento and owned part of a station in Grass Valley, California. Tom Lemmon, the station’s general sales manager for the last 12 years, will take over for Gratner.
