From WFMJ.com – State Representative Bob Hagan (D-Youngstown) wants Limbaugh’s show pulled from Youngstown’s WKBN-AM (570) where Limbaugh’s show has aired for years. Hagan felt called to start a petition against Limbaugh’s “most recent on-air attack against women” on behalf of his three daughters and seven sisters. Limbaugh recently referred to Georgetown University Law School student Sandra Fluke as a “slut” and “prostitute” following her testimony before Congress regarding the need for contraceptive coverage. Within the first 12 hours of being active, Hagan’s petition had 800 signatures.

Hagan told WFMJ that he “respects the fact that local radio stations don’t have control over [content over syndicated] programming,” but says he wants to “make sure that people know language of the kind Limbaugh used will not be tolerated.”

WKBN’s station manager had no comment, but suggested that Representative Hagan forward his complaint to Clear Channel’s corporate headquarters in San Antonio.
