In memoriam: Mike Pintek

Longtime talk show host, Mike Pintek has died. A fixture on KDKA-AM (1020) and PCNC, Pintek announced he was battling inoperable pancreatic cancer in May 2017. He continued to work as he was able through treatments, but took a leave of absence after suffering a stroke earlier this year. He was 65.

    Rest in Peace Mike, you will definitely be missed!
    I always enjoyed listening to the Mike Pintek show each day.
    Mike was always interesting, fair and had great guests.
    I guess he\’s been reunited with the Honz Man again…
    KDKA won\’t be the same without him….RIP

    Sad to hear of Mikes passing. I worked with him at WKBO in Harrisburg.
