11049616_10206102721671113_8363643288100659168_nDon Berns, a voice of WTAE-AM (1250) from 1977 to the early 1980s, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday. Berns had been living in Toronto. Details are incomplete at this point, but he is fondly remembered at Jeff Roteman’s 1250/WTAE Facebook Page.

    I used to enjoy his show. Very entertaining, back at a time when radio stations were not afraid to let their personalities do more than just force-feed music. Sorry to learn of his passing,
