July 19, 2013 Off By Eric O'Brien

WTAE-TV (4) meteorologist Demetrius Ivory will leave the station August 2 to pursue a similar position at WGN-TV (9) in Chicago. According to Chicago Media reporter Robert Feder, WGN will be expanding its weekday morning news to six hours beginning in the fall. Ivory will join existing meteorologist Paul Konrad to cover the expanded block. The WGN Morning News is not currently available on “WGN America”, the station’s cable channel which airs the Noon and 9:00 p.m. newscasts. No word if the expanded newscast, or parts thereof, will be made available across the country.
