Keymarket flipping 100.5 and 96.5

On September 10, Keymarket will switch the frequencies of WYJK-FM (100.5 Bellaire) “Jack-FM” and WBGI-FM (96.5 Moundsville) “Biggie”. One observer noted that Keymarket may be going after Clear Channel’s country WOVK (98.7 Wheeling). 100.5 has a powerful 48kW ERP output while 96.5 only 2.5kW output. More as we hear it.
I wish they were leaving 100.5 alone. I liked it when it was WOMP-FM
Agreed this is exactly what the market doesn’t need another strong signal with country on it. 96.5 is all Static near Steubenville, This is going to overlap alot of 103.5’s coverage. Its just a stupid move.
