WAVLLHTC Media drops classic hits, “The Mountain” and flips to news/talk as “PA Talk 98.7 FM/AM 910”.  The company says the station will air local news and weather in addition to Pittsburgh talker Jim Quinn in the Morning, The Hank Baughman Show, Laura Ingraham, The Dana Show, Michael Savage and Joe Pags. Weekends will be all sports with Fox Sports Radio and Penn State Football and Basketball. General Manager, Brandon Kail says, “PA Talk 98.7FM/AM 910” will offer a great new alternative for talk radio in the Pittsburgh market.

  1. If a liberal speaks its freedom of speech, if a conservative speaks its hate and racism, WE need this in this market , since 104.7 jumped to the already flooded country music format in this area. we have had to listen to a weak AM talker out of Pittsburgh that didn’t come in very well and the owners refuse to try to boost the signal or find an FM simulcast , hopefully this works out. would really like to hear Bloomdaddy and Glen Beck but this will have to work for now.

    1. WJAS weak? 1320 is the second most-powerful Pittsburgh AM station by day with 7000 watts (3000 at night). You might live just out of its signal range?
