Marko Polka goes online only

April 30, 2017 Off By Eric O'Brien

Listeners to WQTW (1570 Latrobe) haven’t heard the last of “Marko Polka”. But if they want to hear him next week, they’ll have to go online. WQTW and its sister WLSW (103.9 Scottdale) have been sold to Broadcast Communications III, Inc. and the show won’t be making the move. Instead, listeners can pick up the show from 9:00 a.m. – Noon on Sundays via markoradio.com where there is also a 24-hour stream. Other programs on WQTW ended their run on the station this weekend as well.

Marko, whose real name is Mark Kuhns, is also known in the area for being the WTAE-TV “Superfan”.
