Newsroom dedicated to Honsberger’s Memory

Here’s a photo from today’s dedication ceremony for the Fred Honsberger Memorial Newsroom. Shown in the photo is Fred’s wife Chris.
The plaque reads: “In recognition of his passion, pride and professionalism during 30 years of service to KDKA and the people of Pittsburgh, we dedicate this newsroom to, and operate in memory of, Fred Clinton Honsberger, 1951-2009. Anchor, Reporter, News Director, Talk Show Host, Mentor, Leader, Collegue, Friend.”
KDKA moved into new studios in Green Tree last November.
