Richert and Roach featured

July 14, 2012 Off By Eric O'Brien

They are the morning hosts at sister stations, and the Tribune-Review has featured both of them over the last two weeks.

While we were on vacation, the Trib had a great article on WDSY-FM (107.9) morning man Jimmy Roach. Roach has been on the air in Pittsburgh almost continuously since 1973. He returned to ‘DSY earlier this year after spending over a decade at the rival Froggy stations.

This week, Larry Richert is featured. Larry has been on the air in Pittsburgh since 1979 ironically starting at WDSY.  Since 1989 he has worked for KDKA Radio and TV willing to go just about anywhere he’s needed. He’s also the voice of many NFL productions and, beginning this fall, will be the stadium announcer for all Pittsburgh Steelers home games.
