S.N.O.D. cancelled
August 7, 2016We’ve heard that WWSW (94.5) has cancelled the long-running Sunday Night Oldies Diner effective immediately. Next Sunday, those tuning in will hear 80s editions of American Top 40. The most memorable host of the program was R.D. Summers (Thomas Renkenberger) who passed away suddenly in 2009. More as we hear it.
Even though it’s nothing compared to when RD hosted the show, it’s still pathetic that it’s been ousted in favor of Kasey Kasem reruns. Just more of the iheart homogenization and the final end of what was once a great station.
