Shovlin to Robert Morris Hall of Fame

September 21, 2012 Off By Eric O'Brien

Chris Shovlin has been named an inductee of the Robert Morris University Hall of Fame Class of 2012. Shovlin, who has spent 25 years as a Division I-A play-by-play announcer at the University will share the honors with four others. He is the first media member in a club exclusively reserved for coaches and former players. The induction ceremony will take place in a few weeks.

Shovlin wears several hats in the Pittsburgh market, namely the morning news anchor at Pittsburgh and Greensburg Renda Broadcasting stations and the afternoon host on that company’s WJAS-AM (1320). He’s also the director of marketing and promotions.
