Stoney Richards steps back

After a reported 46 years in the business, Stoney Richards is stepping away from his radio gig at WDSY (107.9) effective September 10. Richards has been on several stations in this market but has spent the last few years as APD/MD and afternoon drive for the country station. He is leaving the gig to pursue a career in acting. But you haven’t heard the last of Stoney. He’ll continue to host Live From the Centre on sister station KDKA-AM (1020) on Saturday afternoons. He will also make occasional appearances on WDSY.
