Tomorrow WZUM is completely gone

Tomorrow – March 22 – is the end of the road for Carnegie-licensed 1590 AM (WZUM). This marks one year since the station went dark after the studios were padlocked for unpaid bills. The station’s fate was sealed in December when Crafton Borough Council decided to have the three-tower array torn down. The towers sat on leased borough property for which rent had not been paid for several months. The last owners were Believe and Achieve Family Educational Center, Inc.

Take one last look at the FCC record while you can.
