Trib Total Media announced today that it reached an agreement to purchase MSA Sports from Management Science Associates, Inc. The deal is supposed to close next month after which the network will become the TRIBLive High School Sports Network.

MSA currently broadcasts over 2000 sporting events a year and owns the rights to all WPIAL playoff and championship games. That will not change under the new owner.

The Nauticom Sports Network launched in 1998 and was purchased and rebranded by MSA in 2001.
