It took a little more than two weeks after the deadline, but the asset purchase agreement for the sale of WDUQ-FM (90.5) has been signed. Once the agreement is filed with the FCC, there will be a 30-day comment period after which the station becomes the property of Essential Public Media. According to the station’s own newsblog, it is unclear why the April 15 deadline was missed. There is no word on a closing date for the sale.
