WESA-FM (90.5) has named Paul Guggenheimer the host of “Essential Pittsburgh”, a new, live weekday talkshow. Guggenheimer is a Pittsburgh native and contributed stories to WDUQ while a student at Peabody High School. His latest gig was a similar program on South Dakota Public Radio. The Post-Gazette reports that a start date hasn’t been announced for the new program, but it will air weekdays from Noon – 1:00 p.m. and re-air at 8:00 p.m.
