This may look like a similar story I posted in regards to WQLN last week, but this shows that there is indeed a nationwide push to save federal funding for Public Broadcasting and I can receive PBS programming form both Erie and Youngstown. Last week, the House of Represenatives pushed to cut all funding for public television and radio. The Senate will vote on the matter this week. “Western Reserve Public Media” (WNEO DT 45 (45) Alliance – Youngstown / WEAO DT 50 (49) Akron – Cleveland) President / CEO Trina Cutter has cut a spot to alert viewers that all federal funding for Public Broadcasting could be cut which would eliminate Public Broadcasting on TV and Radio.
