Where is the HD outside of network programs?

Local Erie TV stations have yet to carry high definition programming outside of what the networks offer. While that may be well and good for some, not having some syndicated fare in HD is a letdown for those who like shows like “Wheel of Fortune” or “Jeopardy” to name a few. I get a unique view of stations in multiple markets and Youngstown stations for the most part are carrying several shows in HD. In other words, I do not have to suffer with watching Jeopardy in SD on WSEE when I can watch it in glorious HD on WKBN. Erie viewers who cannot tune into other markets deserve better than what the local stations are sending out when they carry non network programming. If Youngstown stations can do it (plus offer local newscasts in HD), why can’t Erie stations? Hopefully, this will change soon and Erie can enjoy all of the benefits of High Definition programming.
