Jamestown / Warren: News courtesy of Fybush.com reports that WNAE 102.7 FM in Claredon, Pa. is being sold by Iorio Broadcasting “Joseph Iorio” to Vernal Enterprises for $355,000. Vernal is owned by Larry Schrecongost who owns other stations in Southwest Pennsylvania. WNAE FM was put on the air by Iorio in order to be a translator for WNAE AM 1310, however technical issues prevented that from happening. The station then became a simulcast partner with WKNB “Kinzua Country 104.3” with no plans of operating the station with a separate format. Expect a call letter change once the sale is finalized.
