WPXI translator up and running

Over-the-air Channel 11 viewers to the north will find it a little easier to tune in to the NBC affiliate. A translator signal on Channel 33 has been installed in New Castle to cover Big Beaver, East Palestine, Ellwood City, New Wilmington, Slippery Rock and more. Viewers will have to re-scan their converter box or TV in order for the new signal to be found. WPXI’s main signal will show up as 11.1 and MeTV will show up as 11.2.
