According to a post by WQLN Public Media on Facebook, WQLN will be off the air until Monday according to WQLN Chief Engineer Aaron Coseo. The tube of the digital transmitter went bad but was the original tube when the transmitter was installed by former WQLN Engineers (Then CE) Dennis Spagnolo, Ed Upton and Dave McIntyre 10 years ago. Customers of Time Warner Cable in Erie and Rogers Cable in Canada will not be affected by the outage thanks to fiber optics. Those who watch WQLN off air or through Dish Network, Directv or other cable outlets will not have WQLN at all until Monday according to Coseo.
