WRBP sale finalized
January 25, 2013Tom Taylor reported this morning that the sale of WRBP in Hubbard, Ohio is finalized. The class A station at 101.9 will now go non-commercial under the ownership of Educational Media Foundation and will likely air the K-Love format. The sale was announced nearly a year ago and was met with opposition from Percy Squire who once owned the station. Sale price: $500,000. Broker: John Pierce.
I turned to 101.9 last weekend and they were already playing K-Love.
