WTAE GM Rick Henry to retire

After 40 years with Hearst and 9 of those at WTAE-TV (4), station President and General Manager Rick Henry is retiring. The move will take place in the early part of March and it’s likely that Hearst already has a replacement in mind.
A representative of the station told the Post-Gazette that the move has nothing to do with WTAE’s anchors and reporters re-signing with AFTRA last summer.
An official announcement is expected within the next week.
