Coleman named AM traffic anchor

WTAE-TV announced this morning the elevation of Lily Coleman to morning news traffic anchor. Coleman has been with the station since 2022 and has become a natural fit with the team which just experienced a shuffle with the retirement of 30+ year veteran Michelle Wright and the reassignment of Ryan Recker to evenings.

Wright’s departure moved Elena LaQuatra from the traffic and noon news anchor duties to fill the void. Coleman will also take over the noon spot. Coleman, who receives high praise from her colleagues and upper management, is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. She is also the daughter of Amy Bradley – a longtime anchor at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA.
