Cumulus prepares 19 stations in 10 states for sale

Radio & Records reports that Cumulus Radio is preparing to sell 19 of it’s stations by moving them into a trust. “Stratus Radio LLC” will be the name of the company which will prepare selected stations to be sold to 3rd party bidders. This move is being made in order to follow FCC guidelines regarding station ownership in any given market. In the Youngstown market, Cumulus currently owns several popular stations in both Ohio & Pennsylvania. They include WYFM 102.9 & WPIC 790 (Sharon), WHOT 101.1 & WBBW 1240 (Youngstown), WQXK 105.1 & WSOM 600 (Salem), WWIZ 103.9 & WLLF 96.7 (Mercer).
