Hillgrove suspended for 2 games

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced today that play-by-play announcer Bill Hillgrove will be out the first two games of the season.

Earlier this summer, Hillgrove was charged with a DUI after driving his car into plate glass at the Shur Save store in Murrysville. He drove off as if nothing happened and later admitted to police that he had consumed a few beers not long before the incident. He has been the Steelers Play-by-Play announcer since 1994 and the same for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers since 1974. There is no word if he will receive a suspension from that job or not.
