LaQuatra moves up in the mornings; Recker moves to evenings

Upon the retirement of Michelle Wright at the end of this month, Elena LaQuatra will elevate to co-anchor of WTAE-TV’s “Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 This Morning” from 4:30-7:00 a.m. Janelle Hall and meteorologist Ashley Dougherty remain in their roles. This prompts a search for a new morning traffic reporter and noon news anchor which is underway.

Meanwhile Ryan Recker will move to the evening shift as a contributing reporter and anchor of the 7:00 p.m. newscast on Channel 4’s digital subchannel “4.2” – CoziTV.
