National Weather Service station in upgrade mode

The NOAA’s National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh (Moon Township) issued a statement Tuesday that radio station KIH35 (162.550 MHz) continues to on the air in a “degraded state” until phone circuits and audio equipment can be upgraded. Listeners can expect some off-air periods when equipment is being changed. The NWS has no estimation for completion.
