Scott Fybush reports this morning:

  • WZUM (1590) is facing more problems from the FCC. A violation was issued earlier this month showing that the station’s directional array was out of phase during a Fall ’09 inspection. As a result, higher-than-authorized signals were going out. A proper legal ID was not executed during the time of inspection either. Last week we reported that the station was sending out dead air after the studios had been padlocked for unpaid rent.
  • WAOB-AM (860) is on the air simulcasting its sister WAOB-FM (106.7). Meanwhile, WPGR (1510) airs separate programming.
