Post-Gazette “First Person” article recalls music on WJAS

When Richard and Anita Peterson make their annual trek to Pittsburgh this year, they won’t be greeted by WJAS (1320)… at least not the one they’re used to. The Peterson’s (native Pittsburghers) plan to arrive with “the sounds of silence” and not the talk shows which, to them is “like a tower of political babble.” Mr. Peterson wrote the First Person article in this past Saturday’s Post-Gazette.
